Why Do Women Have A Much Harder Time Losing Weight?
Women-get motivated and start losing weight! Don’t let anything stop you!
If you went to a physician to get a weight loss program, he would probably just tell you to just start eating smaller portions, at least, four times a day, and to not eat after 8 at night unless you had a cup of tea and dry toast. He would give the same advice whether you were a man or a woman. The truth is even after all the hype about differing metabolic rates, muscle mass and the rumored notion that women’s bodies are biologically different because nature has designed a woman’s body to have kids, losing weight on a basically social level may be more difficult for women because women are in the kitchen cooking more often than men.
Myths
There are 3 really bad habits that women pick up as cooks for their families that adds weight and makes it harder for them to go on a diet and lose weight. Once a habit becomes almost like an addiction, actually an addiction, losing weight is complicated not only by cutting down on food consumption, but, also, by needing to seek mental health therapy to re learn or to erase the bad habit.
Stop Right There
The first bad habit is eating every one’s leftovers. Family cooks are usually women. When those women go to clean the table, a leftover chicken leg becomes too tempting for them to resist. Eating everyone’s leftovers if done long enough will develop into a type of food addiction that will be very hard to break.
If It Smells Good It Tastes Good
The second bad habit that women who cook for their families grow into is eating a double portion of food on the need for them to test whether the food is cooked and seasoned properly. The amount of tasting on the part of these women actually equals to another portion of food. By the time the table is set and the family sits to eat, women cooks have already eaten one serving.
Exercise
The third bad habit that women cooks develop as a result of cooking for the family is to assume that standing on their feet three times a day is all the exercise that they need.
