These benefits can be obtained by visiting your nearest Medicaid office and requesting an application for Medicare. The requirements vary between situations, but the main tie is having contributed taxes into the Medicare program whether it’s by you or your spouse. Once the application is submitted and approved then a Medicare card will be mailed to you. You will automatically be enrolled in Part A and will have to pay a premium to be enrolled in Part B.
