With this type of insurance plan, you are allowed to visit your own doctor but you will need a network hospital for planned stays. This plan is the same as the Medicare supplemental plan but is meant for emergencies situations, or when one gets ill while in a different region.
Network Hospitals
Network hospitals refer to those that link with insurance companies to give you their services. With these hospitals, you will have an easier time getting treated as you will have no worries on which doctor to visit. Supplement plans are flexible and convenient giving you choice. This means that whether you decide to continue with your old physician or get a new one, you will have less to worry about.
